What it is? The solar butterfly is a free outlet for electric bikes and scooters. When you’re in the city you can charge your bike for free.

Why it is cool? It’s cool because its durable, the power to charge your bike comes from solar panels. One of the trends at this moment are the urban nomads. Those are people who don’t stay at one place to long. So a free outlet to charge your bike is a perfect solution for them. Another trend at this moment is durable. We are more concerned with the nature and our impact on it. So solar panels are the outcome for clean energy. The last few years are the electric bicycles in attendance. More and more people purchase electric vehicles. But outdoors is lacking of charging points. So the solar butterfly is a really great solution… Tilburg is the first with the solar butterfly, but I hope that many city’s will follow…
