What it is? The Valkee brain stimulation headset is a new devise that will bring sunlight to you even in the cold winters. You probably think how is that possible. Well A team of scientists in Finland has done some research to the brain and the found out that surprisingly the human brain itself is photosensitive. So they developed an device named Valkee, it almost looks like an MP3-player but instead of music the earplugs send light through the ear canals directly to the brain.​

Why is it cool? The Valkee is cool cause a main problem among the population is the lack of vitamin D. Because we have a lack of vitamin D we often are depressed, and feeling sad. You also get more stress, well overall it’s just not healthy to have such a low vitamin D level. So I really think that this device is astounding. It’s so exceptional that its one of a kind. Its new and I think we can get a lot of benefits from it. The Valkee is just an impressive little thing. And the main part is the fact that it really works. But there is an down side on it and that is the price. It’s just really expensive so it is way easier to just go get some pills. I’m definitely not keen on pills, but sometimes you don’t really have an say in it. But overall I really like this creative and surprising device.
